The DirecTV Applience Guy
So the DirecTV appliance guy came in to do a maintenance check on our receivers and whatnot.
He didnt talk as much until i asked
"SO do you like you your job, and be honest man?"
Big ass grin on his face.
as i laughed and pointed to him,
"NAHH CMON U GOTTA TELL ME MAN"
"no"
lol
then we started talkin about that it puts bread on the table
"if it puts a sandwich on the table is great"
lol
then he goes
"Two sandwich's is even better"
lol
Then he asked me about what i wanted to do
"I want to be a journalist"
oooo
He then started talkin to me about he used to be lookin at the news 24/7. All day constantly, till the George W. Bush election, because "it was all full of lies".
I believe him on that one.
Then we started talkin more and he was actually really intellectual. He referred to be
a book by an associate(not work related) named Douglas Graham.
The book is called
Ideation:The Birth and Death of Ideas.
Basically what it talks about is how huge companies come up with good ideas and how you can come up with an idea, get it patent and possibly be successful...or a loser.
He was very smart and knew what he was talking about.
When he was my age, he said he was a player and messed with a lot of girls and used to do concerts with Elephant Man and Mr.Vegas...yea..He's from The Islands.lol
He also said that ppl nowadays perceived things wrong and see things jus for what they were built for.
He grabbed a plunger.

(we were tryna get a cable that was hanging out the window.

"But i can use this plunger as my tool to get it.
My tool or the plunger could have done the same thing, but ppl wont think to use the plunger...cuz its a plunger"

Then he spoke about my paintings.
"People might look at your art and say "Wow, what cause that man to view his painting as art?" "
"Thus sparking curiosity in them and try to figure out what i was tryna portray and why i made that painting."
VERY TRUE
"People can view things different and because theyre so many different people, it will cause them to look deeper to find out other views about things."
I can honestly say
I will not forget this day and how def. did effect me in a w ay.

Day and Nite is a good joint. and the remix with Jim Jones is sick too...but man i wasnt ready for his mixtape

o man this mixtape is hot
must say my top include
"Cleveland is The Reason". Nice beat and sick lyrics make smokin a black and mild a must with this song.
"Man on The Moon". He's explaining on why his style is so diff and why its hard for ppl to understand appreciate it. Pretty good song
"CuDi Get". Idk, Like the lil kid in the chorus going "WAAA WAAA WAAA" lol its cool.
"The Prayer".I heard this a while while back and it was a nice song. I wud play it in my funeral.lol
"Day and Nite". Only reason why i have this on 4th was cuz its played out by all u losers. But nonetheless, its still a good song. Just heard it too many times now.
"Whenever".Well...I dont even know.lol just listen to it.
and now this Mixtape. I must say, i didnt wana get it till i heard their blog. Ppl are hypin him a lot but i guess cuz he fuckin good yo.lol
"So Far Gone" is probably the best mixtape out right now.
O man, most of the mixtape is filled wit hot songs. Must admit, he's becoming one of my favorite rappers now. Can't wait for his album "Thank Me Later" which might drop late 09' or possibly early 10'.

a slight kiss with the Queen
So for my Dad's birthday we decided to head to Queens New York
to eat walk around and just basically chill.
Pretty cold, but i loved it.
i feel so free.
i can run and walk and scream and NO ONE WUD CARE
cuz theyre too busy going to their destinations and shit.
=)
first stop
This Latin Music store.
5 min- ok
10 min later- ok ok..
20 min later- ok what are u guys lookin for?
30 min later- wtf? why r u guys takin so long.
God i seriously stayed in that store for like a good 40 min..
Luckily i brought my Zune, so Kanye, Kid Cudi, and T.I. kept me company
so after that we went to go eat..ooooo

So i proceed to walk in and saw some really nice dunks. I started talking to one of the workers and he explained that that Specific store receives exclusives sneakers every now and den

Today is that followin day and i am beat from work
im actually liking work more and more every time i go in. =)
i am currently drinkin this weird Japanese Soda called Ramune
RAMUNE!!
